Good web design matters and a quality web presence is crucial in today’s market. Even for a brick and mortar store, if clients can’t find you online you’ll frequently be overlooked.

But what do I mean by quality? Many large website providers will provide you with a basic site that gives you a simple presence on the web. But all too frequently these are not search engine optimised, are outdated, don’t work well on all devices and are difficult or costly to update.

I’ve been building websites since the 90’s and offer more than just a good-looking site but instead can provide the entire solution. All the websites we provide are fully mobile ready and look and work great on all devices. We are careful to optimise every page of your website to make is as search engine friendly as possible. We can also provide dedicated hosting, ongoing maintenance and consultation to help you get the maximum benefit from your website.

Yes, I’m happy to work with any hosting platform and with pre-registered domains as well as update an existing website.

Sure! Instructions can be provided to enable you to add content to your site and update it yourself (not available on the two-page package). All you need to do is have a passing knowledge of the WordPress CMS and you’ll be away. And if you don’t, there’s loads of help available online too.

As you might have guessed – this depends on how big the project is, but most projects are completed with two weeks. However, if you need something sooner, just say, I don’t mind the odd late night!

Although I often work with fellow freelancers, you’ll almost always only deal with me. This means I can offer a personal and personable service. No “press one if…” or “please hold and I’ll transfer you to…”, it’s just me.

I’m experienced, flexible, reliable and hard-working. If there’s anything you’re not happy with, just let me know and I’ll do whatever I can to make it right.

Drop me an email at and I’ll get right back to you. It’s often best to start with a phone consultation but if you’d prefer to meet over a coffee, I’m more than happy to meet up.

While I’m happy to help with content (text and images) where I can, it’s best if you can provide the wording since you know your business better than anyone. I’ll advise you on how it might be tweaked for readability and how to optimise the wording for search engines.

Clients usually provide their logo, branding guidelines (if they have them), photographs, graphics and text. If you’re missing any of this don’t worry, but the more you can provide, the better.

Ongoing costs for a website are usually quite small. Hosting is usually between £50 and £200 a year depending on the size of your site and your hosting provider. Your domain name also needs to be paid for which costs between £10 and £30 a year.

I also offer maintenance contracts to ensure your site is up-to-date. This includes minor updates.

Absolutely. Having a solid presence on the web is crucial, even if all your clients do is look up your phone number. A business without a website is like a shop without a front door. People need to find you and a website not only works as a shopfront but also allows you to sell your services to your potential customers.

Sure. I build online shops using the solid, reliable and cost effective WooCommerce platform.

Yes. And you’re guaranteed that it will be registered to you, so there’ll be no nasty surprise transfer fees if you choose to move away.
